Play GeSort

What is GeSort?

GeSort is a citizen science game that solves the genome sorting problem in genomics.

What is Genome Sorting Problem?

Genome sorting is the problem to find out the minimum number of events that transforms one genome to another.

Goal of the Game

The goal of this game to transform an ordered sequence of genes into another with three operations (duplications, deletions and inversions). Here the genes are represented in coloured shapes.

Data Collection

No confidential data will be asked or recorded. We will only store the data related to solve the puzzle which helps us in the research.
